Susan is responsible for providing advanced governance, administration oversight and consulting services to trustees governing multi-employer life and health and pension trust funds. Susan has been involved in the development of governance, funding and finance education programs designed for multi-employer trustees. She served two terms as Chair of the Canadian Board of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and is a member of the Canadian Strategic and Program Planning Committee. 

Susan is the vice chair of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FRSA) Technical Advisory Committee for multi-employer pension plans. She received the ICD.D designation from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management Institute of Corporate Directors. Susan was recently elected the 2024-2025 Chair of the World Pension Alliance, a global organization that represents the interests of over 400 million pension plan participants and over US$10 trillion in assets. She is a director and treasurer of MEBCO-the Multi-Employer Benefit Plan Council of Canada-the national organization that lobbies and educates governments and regulators on issues impacting health and pension plans. MEBCO represents approximately 1 million multi employer pension and benefit plan participants and their governing board of trustees. Susan graduated from York University with a bache lor of arts degree, majoring in economics.
